Auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2010, vom 6.-10. Oktober 2010, findet sich inmitten unzähliger Buchaussteller mit fremdsprachigem Lesestoff ein kleiner aber feiner Stand mit arabischer christlicher Literatur.

Zu sehen gibt es außerdem eine Filmvorführung: “Damaskus erzählt” - ein arabischer (bzw. zum Weitergeben: arabisch-deutscher) Film mit Untertiteln in verschiedenen Sprachen. Inhalt der in Syrien gedrehten Doku: Vom Saulus zum Paulus - vom Verfolger zum Apostel.

Stand for Arabic Christian literature
Launching of the film „Damascus speaks” with panel

We have the pleasure to invite Arabic-speaking people all around Europe as well as tourists in Germany to visit the Frankfurt book fair 2010.
On 9th and 10th there will be the launching of the new film about the life of St. Paul „Damascus speaks“.
 
Within this framework we will organize a panel to discuss the origin of Christianity and the impact of the turning point in the life of Saul – who became the apostle Paul – upon the development of Christian faith which is rooted in the oriental culture since then.

Our objectives
 
Exhibition and distribution of Christian literature: We will exhibit theological and other books written with Christian perspective, that can be ordered through us, either at the stand or via internet all over Europe.
 
Encouragement to imitate: We would like to encourage churches and Christian organizations all over the world to take similar initiatives to make the Christian heritage and its culture known and develop new answers to challenging modern issues.
 
As a visitor to the book fair you will get a Paul’s film freely, in addition to some publications at our stand.
 
Prayer request: we appreciate your prayers for the event as well for us the organizers of it so that God may bless those with whom we shall meet.
Date, place and time:
6th – 8th Oct the book fair opens for authors and publishers only
9th – 10th Oct the book fair is open for the public

Time and place for film presentation:
Saturday, 9th Oct., 1:00 pm and Sunday, 10th Oct., 12:00 am, in hall 4.C, conference room “CONSENS”
